If I use iPod do I always have to be in an area covered by a WiFi signal?
No. You only need WiFi to receive or route packages. You can deliver packages outside of a WiFi area and QTrak will automatically send the packages to the cloud when you are back in WiFi coverage.
Can I route packages directly on a Mac or PC?
Yes, you can use external scanners on your Mac or PC to capture carrier-tracking numbers, and all other routing functionality is also available within QTrak.
What if I want to track something that does not have a barcode?
You can print your own barcodes labels from QTrak.
What type of security procedures does QTrak use?
QTrak balances security and usability to provide a fluid customer experience while protecting valuable information. QTrak does not store any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) of customers on the mobile devices. QTrak also uses 256-bit Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) encryption to transport information from the QTrak servers to the mobile devices in the field. This is the same level of security maintained by consumer banking applications in order to prevent unauthorized access, confidentiality, and maintain the integrity of the information.
Can package email notifications be customized?
Yes, both the subject line and message body can be customized.
Can I give other members of my organization the ability to look for their packages with QTrak?
Yes, you can give anyone in your organization “searcher” only access. They will only have access to package detail.
