Is QTrak a cloud-based system? What is needed from IT?
Yes, QTrak is a cloud-based system and it is not very IT-intensive.
QTrak is a free app on Apple (iOS) or Android devices and all transactions completed on the app go real-time through the cloud technology back to the QTrak website. Devices using QTrak simply need to be connected to the network in order for the data to go real-time to the QTrak website. Any transactions scanned while devices are not connected to the network will save to a “Pending Transaction Queue” and can be pushed through once the device is connected to the network.
Can QTrak be used to track inventory or other items that are not packages?
Yes, QTrak can be used to track any accountable items
IT items, capital assets, lost & found, inventory of supplies, and many other items can be tracked, managed, and overseen through our QTrak interface.
